Another fishing season on the Margaree River has come to an end. This fall held a couple of firsts for me -
This was the first time I fished with my son, Keven. He now wants to learn to fly fish which is GREAT.
The second is this is my fiance's first trip to Nova Scotia and she caught her FIRST FISH ( A nice little speckled trout liked her big GP)
There never seems to be two falls in a row that are alike. This season there was no frost so the leaves were very late changing, some had not yet changed by the end of October. This rarely happens. There was lots of rain in October, basically it rained almost every day for the last 2 weeks of the season. The river was very high. The temperatures were warmer than usual to.

Here are some slid shows of fishing the Margaree River, Fall, 2005.
